In Nigeria's bustling urban centers, poverty and despair often run rampant. Our inner-city missions focus on meeting the needs of these underserved populations through practical assistance and spiritual guidance.
Example: In Irrua, one of our largest urban outreaches involved distributing over 2,000 food packages to families in need. Alongside the physical aid, we hosted Bible study sessions and prayer meetings.
Over the course of a week, we distributed more than 2,000 food packages, provided free medical consultations, and hosted nightly gospel services. The physical aid was complemented by spiritual counseling sessions, during which families were encouraged to share their struggles and receive prayer.
One particularly impactful story came from Aisha, a single mother of three. Struggling to feed her children, she was overwhelmed by the support she received. “This mission gave me hope when I thought all was lost,” she shared. “My children and I now have a renewed sense of faith and purpose.”
By addressing both physical and spiritual needs, our inner-city missions create opportunities for individuals and families to rebuild their lives on a foundation of faith. The ripple effect of these efforts is felt across entire communities, as transformed individuals become agents of change.
